Anemone is a designer swim and resort wear brand based in Los Angeles, founded in 2018 by California natives Lauren Arapage and Joshua Shaub—a former press officer for Stella McCartney and buying director for Moda Operandi, respectively. Drawing inspiration from their shared home state and the city where their careers in fashion began, each collection combines the laid-back ease of West Coast style with New York’s iconic irreverence. While paying homage to where they came from, the founders look toward the future with a focus on sustainability and ethical means of production.
