UTU is an outdoor skincare brand built on the belief that getting outdoors and into the sunshine is essential for happiness and health. Named after the ancient Sumerian god of the sun, UTU creates skincare and suncare hybrids for people who don't want to choose between SPF performance and advanced skin nourishment, because skincare without suncare isn't skincare at all. The brand sets out to protect and rejuvenate both the skin and our relationship with the outdoors.

Their sun protection comes exclusively from non-nano zinc oxide, a mineral filter that sits on the surface of the skin and is the most reef-safe option available. Formulas are rich in skin-repairing ingredients like sea buckthorn, astaxanthin, snow mushroom and hyaluronic acid, and are made without chemical UV filters, parabens or synthetic fragrance. UTU is cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified, and has aimed for zero plastic in its packaging from day one.
